Thanks for the memories!

| General

Well, what can we say? After 33 spectacular seasons, we’ve finally turned off the taps and shut our doors. It’s been a wild ride. And it’s all thanks to you! Our Season Pass holders, birthday blasters, one-off weekend-goers and the occasional Sunday sliders are the reason that Splashdown is so important to us. We love seeing your smiles, hearing your screams and watching you take the plunge – whether it be your first time or fiftieth. Because of our awesome Splash fam, we have  some amazing  memories. Hopefully you enjoy them as much as we do and thanks, once again, for all the #SplashdownClassic memories! Salena: “What don’t I love?! The dark tunnels are the best and an experience I have only found at Splashdown. The slides are amazing, the river is a relaxing change, there is a water park for my kiddos to burn…

We’re so thankful for each and every one of you, whether this season was your first or hundredth time at the park. Thank you to all who have come, remembered your fun times at the park, and brought your children to make more memories with you. Let’s take a look back into the past 33 years and remember the amazing times we’ve had: Here’s a shot from the very beginnings of Splashdown. Amazing to think that this was the start of something so special for British Columbia! And just like that – the park became a BC favourite! Our special friend, Splish the penguin, stuck with us all these years too! Sarah remembers, “Splashdown…

Splashdown 360 Recap

| Events,Videos

Last week, we brought the slides to the shops at Guildford Town Centre in Surrey! That afternoon, we took our lifeguards, some sweet swag, and your favourite penguin to the mall to give shoppers trips to Splashdown – no swim suit required! Did you know that we shot the 360 video with just one camera? Our special 360 camera captures everything around you – so if you get your hands on one of these, angles are no longer a factor! 360 video allows you to see everything from every angle from what’s filmed, and it lets you choose what you want to see in a video.  “The video was awesome! 360 rocks” said a Splashdown fan. Fun fact: Splashdown is one of the first-ever brands to use 360 video for an event! We also want to thank our special guests who stopped by the…
